A hotel on the centuries-old walls of Szeged

Our Hotel is located in the downtown of Szeged, on Petőfi Sándor Avenue, in the heart of the city’s
cultural and business life, in the university district, just a few hundred meters from the most famous
sights.

Just 2 minutes’ walk and you can reach Dugonics Square, Kárász Street or the REÖK Palace, but you
can be at the riverside of Tisza river, at Dóm Square or at the JATIK Congress Centre in 5 minutes.
Wherever you have your dinner in the city centre, you can be sure that you don't have to walk too
much afterwards to get in your hotel room and rest as soon as possible. Our hotel was reopened in
2021. September and we are waiting for tourists visiting Szeged with new name, elegant inside
design, imposing community places, a brand new apartment and „refreshed” comfortable rooms.

Our hotel is built in 2002 on the foundations of a civic house which was built after the „Great Flood” in 1879. Until 2020 September it had received guests as Hotel Korona, then we opened in 2021 September in a renewed style with interior design solutions that evoke the atmosphere of Italy.

The tasty and varied buffet breakfast is served in a not ordinary environment, in the more than a century old, arched cellar where the rustic style evoking the past merges with the youthful look of today. Fireplace and oak tables meet the colourful, modern chairs, with soft-draped draperies and mood-boosting lights. Our good observer guests could see old bricks with a crest on the wall.

We have our own, privet parking for you, if you would arrive by car.

Everything is given for a great stay in Szeged, and for a personal sightseeing.
